About
Us
Pugs Of Clay
Loving Pugs is my hobby and passion. I started out as casual pet owners, did the
Pug Meetups, infected a few friends with the Pug bug, and then volunteered for
Pug rescue. I have begun exhibiting Pugs and owe successes to my friends and
mentors, of which now there are so many it would fill this page with text! Each
new adventure with Pugs teaches me more.
I am a member of the Pug Dog Club of America and the Tennessee Valley Kennel
Club. I volunteer and donate art to Pug rescues, funds, and clubs. I designed
the 2010 and 2011 PDCA National Specialty logos.

CH Nonesuch Steamboat Willie X Nonesuch Maid Merryan
"Little Man" was our conformation show prospect, and our
first boy.
He had that "look at me" attitude and a loving soul.
He brought us many happy memories and fun show experiences.

Poots' first family loved her so much, that when they saw
she wasn't getting as much attention as she needed, they
placed her with a new family that could spend every single
minute doting on her. She joined us at 14 months old, and we
haven't been the same since. We can't really remember how we
lived before Pugs. Poots enjoys hanging out at art
exhibitions, being seen at art trade shows, and handling
talent. Recently, she lent a paw in creating ceramics to
raise funds for the PDCA Health Fund. Poots turned seven
this year, and is as fiesty as ever! She has that
one-in-a-million personality, and I can't believe how lucky
we are to have her.

Our second Pug came from a breeder friend of Poots'
first family. She was the only pup in the litter, and
was rejected by her dam. Poots helped train her from ten
weeks on, and "Tater" has grown up to be very good
little Pug. She is a bit more athletic than Poots; she
has an effortless, floating vertical leap. Her long jump
is also quite scopey. Tater has a shy personality, so
she probably won't be going to any agility shows. She is
five years young and always glued to my side.
